Rooted Deep in Mining, Competing on the Global Stage: Building an International Mining Marketplace — CTPTC’s Journey to Shou County

2026/5/26

In early summer, with the landscape cloaked in lush green, China-Techpart Precision Technology Co., Ltd.and China-Techpart Wmining Technology Co., Ltd. brought all their employees together for a cultural journey to Shou County — a storied city steeped in national history, where the spirit of the ancient Chu and Han still lingers. Wandering among millennia-old relics, towering city walls, and the gentle hum of everyday life, the team drew closer with every step and conversation, quietly bonding through shared moments and mutual support.

The first stop was the Anhui Chu Culture Museum. Right inside the entrance, a colossal Chu Dà Dǐng — a monumental bronze tripod — stood imposingly before the group. Cast at five times the size of the original, which was excavated from the Chu royal tomb at Zhujiaji in Shou County and weighs over four hundred kilograms, it is the largest round bronze ding from the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods ever discovered, often hailed as “the greatest tripod under heaven.” The entire team gathered solemnly in front of it for a group photograph. In that moment, the frame captured not only the company’s presence but also a collective gaze of awe at the ingenuity of ancient industrial civilization.

Moving deeper into the gallery, everyone halted before an entire wall that shimmered like a mountain of gold. It displayed an extraordinary hoard of Ying Yuan, the gold currency of the Chu State during the Warring States period. Stamped with the characters “Ying Yuan,” these gold plates were cut and weighed for each transaction, and most were unearthed from buried caches. The sheer volume of gold coins gathered in one place vividly testified to the commercial prosperity of ancient Shouchun and the extensive circulation of gold. Young volunteer guides inside the museum stepped forward eagerly to share the stories behind the artifacts, and the employees clustered around them, listening intently and asking questions. The atmosphere was one of deep focus and easy camaraderie.

Leaving the museum, the group made their way to the ancient city wall of Shou County. Built from brick and stone during the Song Dynasty, this fortification has endured a thousand years of wind and rain. Its grey bricks are mottled and weathered, yet the wall still stands remarkably solid and lofty — the best-preserved Song Dynasty brick-and-stone city wall in China. Climbing the gate tower and leaning on the parapet to gaze north, the rolling verdure of Bagong Mountain unfolded before them, along with the sweeping views of the Feishui River. This very landscape was the stage for the pivotal Battle of Feishui, a clash that altered the course of history and gave birth to the idiom “every bush and tree looks like an enemy soldier.” As they ran their hands over the pitted, uneven bricks, a parallel emerged: the thousand-year-old wall has never fallen because every brick interlocks firmly with the next; the classic victory of the few over the many was won through the trust and synergy of the soldiers. How much this resembles the collaboration between departments in our daily work. Those days of liaising with overseas partners and coordinating across teams to push orders forward boil down, at the core, to exactly the same thing — having each other’s back, supporting one another unconditionally.

A city so heavy with history naturally nurtures its own soul-warming delicacies. The final stop on this trip was the birthplace of tofu, to savour a genuine tofu banquet. The story of Liu An, Prince of Huainan during the Western Han Dynasty, who inadvertently created tofu on Bagong Mountain has been passed down for centuries. Yet it was only sitting at the table that everyone truly understood how this patch of land transforms the most ordinary soybeans into a spread of countless textures and forms. When the pan-fried tofu arrived, its surface was shimmering with tiny oil blisters, gleaming with a golden luster under the light. Lifted with chopsticks, the crispy shell cracked delicately between the teeth, while the tofu inside was so tender it almost melted before it could be held, a wave of hot, intense bean fragrance suffusing the mouth. The water tofu was presented in a white porcelain bowl; scooping up a spoonful, it dissolved at the gentlest touch of the tongue, leaving only a warm, soft trail of soybean sweetness. What captivated everyone most was the bowl of freshly set tofu pudding. The steaming hot soy milk slowly coagulated with a sprinkle of gypsum, and with a drizzle of savoury sauce, the pure essence of the beans was completely brought to life amidst the rising steam — unassuming and profound, never ostentatious, yet striking straight to the heart. Lifting a spoonful, the silky pudding slid down the throat almost too swiftly to be savoured, but the bean fragrance lingered on, much like the impression this land leaves: gentle, enduring, with an aftertaste that never quite fades. Throughout the meal, colleagues instinctively served one another dishes and refilled tea, the table filled with ceaseless laughter and easy conversation.

The day’s journey quietly came to a close, yet a new chapter of communication and tacit understanding among the team had only just begun. From the commercial pulse behind the Chu gold coins, to the collaborative spirit borne by the ancient city wall, and the art of sequential coordination embodied in the tofu banquet — every encounter reminded us: China-Techpart Precision Technology Co., Ltd. and China-Techpart Wmining Technology Co., Ltd . are deeply rooted in the mining industry, competing on a global stage, and building an international one-stop mining marketplace. None of this is ever achieved by any single person; it rests on the close collaboration and candid communication of all our colleagues. With unwavering strides, even metal and stone can be carved; with hearts beating as one, no mountain or sea is too far. Carrying the inspiration and warmth gifted by this thousand-year-old city, we will continue to walk forward together, into an even wider, brighter future.
